Rules and best practices for verified local physical storefronts
1. Authentic Physical Presence
Only legitimate brick-and-mortar storefronts with a verifiable physical address are eligible for listing on Dhoondo. Virtual-only entities without a walk-in location or physical counter are not permitted.
2. Genuine Goods & Honest Pricing
Stores must only list genuine, non-counterfeit products. Listed catalog prices and discount tags must reflect actual in-store pricing offered to visiting consumers.
3. Inventory Freshness
Sellers are expected to maintain accurate stock availability flags. When an item goes out of stock in the retail store, its status should be updated promptly via the seller dashboard to prevent customer inconvenience.
4. Verified PRO Merchant Standards
Stores holding the “PRO ✓” badge must maintain high standards of customer responsiveness, clear operating hours, and active customer contact lines during retail shop hours.
5. Prohibited Items
Listing hazardous, illegal, prescription-restricted narcotics, or unauthorized items is strictly prohibited and results in immediate delisting of the store profile.
